      • with reminder notifications
      • sharable for awareness and ???
      • install as native Android app (ignore iOS for now) or PWA?
    • TAM: Total addressable market is huge, still in 2026. Slack was created because I better most trap was needed, and now thrives. Very crowded. NOT unique.
    • w best AI
      • outline this solution
      • Explore how AI functionality could make this solution more valuable, including how an AI Focus coach could offer refinements to tasks, encourage focus on the most impactful and highest Leverage activities including tasks that are unurgent and important, probably many ways that a digital Focus coach could help improve effectiveness in different categories
      • research business opportunities (and full SWOT)
        • Recognize that there is almost zero moat to such a solution, as anyone with app development skills could replicate this and even improve it very quickly, with expertise and AI Dev tools.
        • But scratching one’s own itch, creating a solution for one’s personal preferences, and the resulting knowledge and skills created in the process, would be tangible, even if there was no business result.
      • What pain points still exist with all of the solutions that have been created to address related issues, especially for an information knowledThat is a true statege worker in a corporate setting, as this is where the real business opportunity exists
      • How could AI functionality enhance this solution?
      • Need effective brandable name of course
        • consider modelling after “Skilz” use of “z” that creates brandable uniqueness and semantic clarity of “what”
        • Prefixing with my implies personalization, so “My FOCUS” is a good initial draft of a product name. And capitalizing it leans towards what is most important, and perhaps unique in the crowded task management offerings. Could play with variations of capitalization, as I have done with my smart debt entity branding.

    • I have invested dozens of hours researching task and project management solutions, and still use Ecco Pro, decades later, as no better alternative exists - even though it has real gaps. But everyone could benefit from a simplistic focused solution to this issue, implemented effectively, and a corporate environment where benefits provide a clear return on investment.
    • Be careful with deviating from a simple solution
      • If a key success factor is providing a simple, easy, focused solution on staying focused, there is a real risk to continually add features, and create so much feature bloat that it becomes difficult to use and quickly benefit. In simple terms, eventually “more” becomes “less”. And is easy to do for developers who like creating things, instead of staying focused on the core functionality that matters most. Note the irony here.
    • Story of how Teresa, a effective senior director was at a large national company was using paper-based task management until age 59, And then upgraded with a simple spreadsheet solution created with AI!
    • Why are to do apps task and project management apps so popular and new solutions continue to be developed? Many reasons, including how a better mouse trap is very valuable, and people value different approaches.
    • discuss w Jeff, Th, and others in career worlds
      • Jeff explicitly shared this friction for his management of others
    • Personally, I would value a simple Progressive web app that helped me stay focused on highest Impact ideas.
    • Especially valuable for anyone with any level of ADHD or even slightly vulnerable to distractions or easy wins from completing less important tasks.
    • Business opportunity is focus on world-class enterprise solution
      • Many Enterprise Communications Solutions exist, from email, Slack, Teams, and more, but what effective solution helps knowledge workers stay focused on highest priorities and keeps managers in the loop?
      • This is a HUGE painpoint that only gets bigger as individuals get busier, companies expect more, and distractions compete for our critical attention.
      • to create a simple solution that allows individual knowledge workers to extract from their countless tasks the most important few, and have this information, including needed context, easily shared with the boss, and other colleagues as needed.
    • could include categories (or tags)
      • Business (career)
      • Personal

      • Health
      • Finances
      • Relationships
    • public vs private
    • progressive and personalized
    • Notification system, at optional higher level, could include effective alarms, that is still a gap and requires paid subscriptions like Galarm
      • After identifying top three priorities, could easily top a button (or ask AI assistant mode) to add an unavoidable alarm for critical tasks like taking meds, or getting to a critical meeting.
    • optionally allow adding of “Inspiration of Day/Week”
      • at enterprise level: great for sales teams, new projects, etc. …
      • personally
    • Could include origin story, of why creating yet another task management solution. Reference Warren Buffett’s advice to cab driver. David Allen, getting things done. The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Carnegie contracting a productivity consultant, paying $25K then for (write most important 3 tasks, start on #1 until complete, repeat), and other inspirations. Remembering that shorter and emotionally inspiring stories are most effective.
