        • Recognize that there is almost zero moat to such a solution, as anyone with app development skills could replicate this and even improve it very quickly, with expertise and AI Dev tools.
        • But scratching one’s own itch, creating a solution for one’s personal preferences, and the resulting knowledge and skills created in the process, would be tangible, even if there was no business result.

        • Prefixing with my implies personalization, so “My FOCUS” is a good initial draft of a product name. And capitalizing it leans towards what is most important, and perhaps unique in the crowded task management offerings. Could play with variations of capitalization, as I have done with my smart debt entity branding.

    • I have invested dozens of hours researching task and project management solutions, and still use Ecco Pro, decades later, as no better alternative exists - even though it has real gaps. But everyone could benefit from a simplistic focused solution to this issue, implemented effectively, and a corporate environment where benefits provide a clear return on investment.
    • Be careful with deviating from a simple solution
      • If a key success factor is providing a simple, easy, focused solution on staying focused, there is a real risk to continually add features, and create so much feature bloat that it becomes difficult to use and quickly benefit. In simple terms, eventually “more” becomes “less”. And is easy to do for developers who like creating things, instead of staying focused on the core functionality that matters most. Note the irony here.

Remembering that shorter and emotionally inspiring stories are most effective.
