Background

Spun off from monorepo-tscom-rebuild (approved 2026-07-09). Three homepage design concepts live at sites/ts → /concepts/ts (committed b437553): Quiet Authority ★ (recommended), Editorial Legacy, The Gateway.

DIRECTION PICKED (Talbot, 2026-07-09): Quiet Authority, plus the Books section from Editorial Legacy (the masthead-style “The Books” row with real covers from /concepts/ts/editorial folded into the Quiet Authority canvas). Task is now unblocked.

Note: the site now also has an /order flow (e-commerce phase 1, commit ed5604b) — restyle those pages in the same pass.

Model note: Sonnet-suitable — the judgment work (design directions) is done; this is mechanical application of an established pattern. See the concepts’ shared stylesheet sites/ts/src/styles/concepts/ts-concepts.css and the chosen concept page as the pattern source.

Tasks

Section titled “Tasks”
  • Apply the chosen design direction across all ~20 production pages of sites/ts (new homepage from the winning concept; restyle About, Speaking, Consulting, Products ×10, Resources, Downloads, Contact, Gross-Up, legal pages in the same language)
  • Prune Free Resources per the approved IA plan (documented on /concepts/ts hub):
    • Eliminate News Releases entirely
    • Keep a small curated set of articles for credibility/authority
    • Keep Responsible Leverage content for now — flag with a note to migrate to smartdebtcoach.com when SDC rebuilds (no dead links)
    • Strategy Sheets: leave, flagged as later blog-extraction candidates
  • Add the mBR + SDC destination links/cards to the production homepage (core of the repositioning)
  • Order CTAs interim-target the existing order-form PDF (e-commerce is tscom-ecommerce)
  • Delete the /concepts/ts mockup pages once the restyle ships (they’re noindex scaffolding)
  • Test per AI-Testing-Standards: Playwright overflow at 1440/390 on every page, interactions, build/check/lint clean, cold dev scan, web-deploy ts-site local

Done when

Section titled “Done when”
  • All production pages restyled in the chosen direction; old bland styling gone
  • Resources pruned per IA plan; no dead links
  • Full verification suite green; screenshots reviewed at both widths
  • Committed (non-deploying; deploy is Talbot-gated via tscom-dns-cutover)
