Talbot had a limited Fable 5 usage window (subscription, before API pricing) and wanted the highest-leverage tasks identified for it.

  1. Finish Monorepo-Design-System-Upgrade build-out (mBR) — blocked on Talbot’s review, not picked
  2. Maximizer → Twenty CRM migration — picked, spun off to Maximizer-Twenty-CRM-Migration (Core/IT), completed 2026-07-17
  3. ai-config Phase 4: stale-path audit + world-class upgrade — picked, spun off to ai-config-Worldclass-Upgrade-Audit (Core/AI), completed 2026-07-17
  4. idea-capture-workflow (Processes) — not picked directly, but completed anyway via other work 2026-07-17
  5. ts.com rebuild resume (Core/IT) — not picked, needs Talbot to unpause

Both picked candidates ran the same pattern: /task-prep → confirm open questions with Talbot → switch model to Fable 5 → /task-start for the planning pass → cheaper model for mechanical execution. Both completed successfully. Full detail lives in each child task’s own completion log:

  • Core/IT/Logs/2026-07-17_Maximizer-Twenty-CRM-Migration.md
  • Core/AI/Logs/2026-07-17_ai-config-Worldclass-Upgrade-Audit.md

Pattern (“Fable 5 plans → cheaper model executes → Fable 5 verifies”) is already documented in Core/Processes/Projects/KB-OS/logs/2026-07-13_KB-OS-Memory-and-Context-System.md — not re-logged here.
