Full-vault archive-vs-log cleanup sweep — 28 files resolved

Section titled “Full-vault archive-vs-log cleanup sweep — 28 files resolved”

Trigger: applied the 2026-07-22_Task-Log-vs-Archive-Disposition rule retroactively, vault-wide (not just KB-OS). Full sweep of every Tasks/archive/ folder found 28 files.

Immediate (same session, no batch needed): 3 had clear matching logs, deleted right away — System-Maintenance-Project.md, Maximizer-Twenty-CRM-Migration.md, Ideas-Workflow-triage-v0.md (commit e1af9ef).

12 confirmed KEEP — genuine irreproducible reasoning (multi-session brainstorms, negotiation trails), no log exists anywhere and none warranted: mBR-Business-Review-and-Plan (Talbot’s explicit named exception), 1-ClickTransfers, 2026-04-08_CRM-Architecture, MBR-Upgrades-CC, Origin-story, Rate-Scanner-Dev, Referral-Fee-Mechanics, myMBR-OS, CancerPledgeAdditionalWins, MBR-Business-Concept, Viral Marketing Strategies, Viral Referral System.

13 UNCLEAR → walked one-by-one with Talbot (Archive-vs-Log-Cleanup-Batch1.md task, now closed):

  • DELETE (6): QBOnline, Ideas-Workflow-web-clipper-capture, Independent-AI-Tasks, mBR-Progress, mbr-cleanup, MBR-Business-Concept_Core
  • KEEP (5): tscom-dns-cutover, tscom-ecommerce, tscom-restyle (all 3 fold into an active parent task, not yet finished), Filter+Focus-Refresh (per-item scoring rationale thinner in the live doc), Referral-payment-system
  • LOG THEN DELETE (1): gemini-imap-diagnostic-brief → outcome captured in [2026-07-18_Gmail-IMAP-Auth-Failure-POP3-Switch](/core/processes/projects/ideas-workflow/logs/2026-07-18_gmail-imap-auth-failure-pop3-switch/)
  • MERGE THEN DELETE (1): Graphify-usage.md (was mis-homed under MBR) — no Graphify usage note existed anywhere else in the vault, so created Core/AI/Tools/Resources/Graphify-Usage.md as the Core home (vault-wide AI skill, not business-specific) and merged its content in verbatim before deleting the MBR copy.

Result: 22 files total across the sweep resolved to DELETE (13 net removed from Tasks/archive/), 17 confirmed KEEP, git history preserves full content for every deleted file regardless.

Commits: e1af9ef (initial 3), 0bc919f (batch of 13 + Graphify merge).
