MBR’s Focus.md (deployed to talbotstevens.com/mbr/focus.html) duplicated MBR/Strategy/Identity/Mission.md’s mission text inline — an SSOT violation.

  • MBR: Focus.md’s mission section replaced with ![MBR/Strategy/Identity/Mission](/mbr/strategy/identity/mission/) (Obsidian embed/transclusion, not a plain link — a link would still leave the text duplicated). Path-prefixed per the vault’s wikilink-collision rule (Mission.md exists in both MBR/ and SDC/).
  • Build: sites/mbr/src/utils/load-focus-content.ts didn’t understand Obsidian embeds — added resolveEmbeds() to inline the target note at build time, and convertWikilinks() to convert the embedded note’s own wikilinks (including Obsidian’s [Label](wikilink) pattern) into the existing Glossary(Term) tooltip syntax / plain label text.
  • SDC: same pattern applied, generalized to support !Path (heading-scoped embed) because SDC’s Mission.md has a [!Shortest Version] callout and a stale “Mission Reminders” section that shouldn’t leak onto the live page. Mission.md restructured with a ## Statement heading around the real mission text; ### Mission Reminders promoted to ## Mission Reminders so it’s a sibling section, not nested inside Statement (see Gotcha below). SDC/Focus.md now embeds ![SDC/Strategy/Identity/Mission](/sdc/strategy/identity/mission/#Statement). Net effect: SDC’s live page picks up Mission.md’s canonical wording, replacing a Focus-only paragraph that had independently drifted from it.
  • Both load-focus-content.ts copies (sites/mbr, sites/sdc) updated in parallel.
  • Task moved from MBR/Strategy/Tasks/ to Core/Processes/Projects/Focus/Tasks/ — Focus is the coordination SSOT for focus-page work, not MBR/Strategy.
  • astro build + astro check (0 errors) on both sites/mbr and sites/sdc; inspected built HTML for correct tooltip rendering and no leaked markdown (callouts, --- rules, nested-heading content).
  • MBR deployed live and confirmed by Talbot: talbotstevens.com/mbr/focus.html.
  • SDC deployed live and confirmed by Talbot.

Heading-scoped extraction (!Note) stops at the next heading of equal-or-higher level — a heading nested one level deeper is not a boundary and gets pulled in. SDC’s ### Mission Reminders sat right after ## Statement with no intervening ##, so on the first pass it read as nested content and leaked through. Fixed by promoting it to ##. • load-focus-content.ts is still duplicated between sites/mbr and sites/sdc (pre-existing, flagged in the 2026-06-25 architecture review) — this task made the duplication larger, not smaller. Consolidating to a shared package is now a bigger win; not in scope for this fix.
